5 Simple Items I'm Wearing on Repeat With Jeans This Spring

There is a variety of fashion pieces that won’t go out of style, and jeans are one of them. Denim is a mainstay because of its ease, cool factor, and the fact that it's universally flattering thanks to the endless number of styles available. In fact, you can wear jeans with just about anything. However, my favourite things to wear with jeans are all stylish, simple items.
These days, I am all for looks that take little to no effort, and as we look towards spring, I am keeping this in mind. While outfit-planning for the new season, I knew jeans would be on heavy rotation, and I’ve begun to narrow down my top simple picks to help round out each look. The great thing is that just because a piece is simple, it doesn’t mean it’s all about basics. Trendy pieces, especially those of the minimalistic variety, fit the bill perfectly as well.
Keep scrolling for the five simple items I’ll be wearing with jeans for spring and shop the best picks for each category to help get the look.
1. Tucked-In Tees
Style Notes: One thing is for sure—you'll never be able to convince me that a tee and jeans isn't a classic look. The combo never fails and can easily be dressed up or down. The key is finding the right fit. Thankfully, the options are endless.

2. Draped Sweaters
Style Notes: You're going to want a good jumper for spring. And no, it's not necessarily just for wearing regularly, some of my favourite style muses are wearing theirs draped over their shoulders. It's such an effortless way to make any outfit look more elevated.

3. Classic Trench Coats
Style Notes: If there is one piece that will instantly add a polished feel to any outfit, it is hands down a trench coat. Throw one on over jeans, and voilá—you have an immediate confidence boost.

4. Button-Down Shirts
Style Notes: Button-down shirts and jeans are a match made in fashion heaven. The simple piece makes a big impact in that it makes you feel put together with little effort. Another plus? There are endless designs and colours for every personal style.

5. Fisherman Sandals
Style Notes: Fisherman sandals are back, and bound to be a big trend again this season. While I love the fashion-forward sandals styled with a variety of pieces, there is nothing like wearing a great pair with jeans.
