Is this Gen Z's royal wedding? This weekend, Sofia Richie married music exec Elliot Grainge in an opulent ceremony at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the South of France. The whole ordeal seemed like a fairytale pulled straight out of a Succession set (but much less chaotic).
The affair happened over a few days, and every detail was perfection. For most of her wedding weekend, Richie did her own makeup, detailing the process in a series of "get ready with me" videos on her TikTok.
When it comes to her makeup routine, Richie is a minimalist, which means her wedding weekend glam is easy to copy. Her fresh-faced looks are perfect for any occasion.
For her wedding day makeup, celebrity makeup artist, Pati Dubroff was on hand to create Richie's glow. In a TikTok, she says, "Sofia's wedding makeup was all about just fresh, clean, glowy skin." And thankfully for us, she shared the full breakdown of products that she used to create her South of France wedding glow. Sofia Richie's makeup artist Pati Dubroff used Nudestix Nudies Matte blusher in Sunkissed for a touch of warmth on the cheeks.
Dubroff then patted the shade Picante, a vibrant orange-red blush, into the cheeks for a flush of healthy colour.
Dubroff then buffed Chanel's eyeshadow stick in 12 Contour Clair to define the eyes.
To add gloss and golden lustre to Richie's eyelids, Dubroff called upon this sleek eye gloss palette. In her TikTok video, Dubroff mentions that this limited edition palette is no longer available. But fear not, there is still some limited stock still available on Chanel's website. But if you can't get your hands on it, she suggests the following combination to get a similar effect.
To get the look, Dubroff recommends mixing a gold eyeshadow with Chanel's Baume Essential Glow Stick in Transparent, which lends a glossy gleam to wherever you apply it. These fly off the shelves, but we've found some in stock here.
That's right, Dubroff used a trusty Maybelline mascara to coat Richie's lashes for her wedding day. The waterproof formula isn't just good for shielding against any happy tears, but it also helps to keep your lashes curled all day long.
For a hint of colour on the lips, Dubroff paired this tinted Chanel lip balm in the shade Pink Delight with the below lip liner for a softly sculpted lip.
Dubroff says this lip liner is great for "giving a little hidden contour and definition."
To impart radiance, Dubroff buffed over Makeup By Mario's Soft Sculpt Transforming Skin Enhancer in Light Medium over the cheeks.
To finish, Dubroff applied a touch of Nudestixs Intense Matte Lip and Cheek Pencil in Sunkissed Nude. The exact shade doesn't look available in the UK, but the Sunkissed Nude is the closest match.
