I Define My Wardrobe as Classic But Cool—These Are the Spring Finds I'm Eyeing
Listen, I'm the first to admit that I don't always get it right. We all have the occasional regretful purchase, but if I had to define my wardrobe or the wardrobe I'd love to own, "classic but cool" hits the nail on the head. Think the best versions of all the most important basics with trendy (but not too trendy) buys sprinkled in and the occasional statement piece for those days when you want to switch it up. Ideally, those trendy and statement buys will go perfectly with all your classics so you can wear them often and in many ways.
Casual but cool can sound rather abstract at first, but when defined, it becomes a pretty easy set of parameters to shop for, which is why I was able to bring you this roundup today. Ahead, you'll find the 31 pieces I'm eyeing for my ideal spring aesthetic, from jeans and dresses to shoes, bags, and more. Curious to see what made the cut? Simply keep scrolling to find out and, of course, get to shopping.
I know I'll regret including this when it sells out, but I just had to share.
I wanted this even before I noticed its 4.7-star rating.
Don't forget the matching skirt.
Another strong matching set (that also comes in black).
A wardrobe made up of classics is actually the perfect blank canvas for the occasional statement piece.
Here's another piece I actually did purchase. Spoiler alert: It's even prettier in person.
I'd style these with a white linen shirt and black sandals all season.
Forget about whatever you planned to wear under a blazer and throw this on instead.
Our editorial director, Lauren, Slacked this to me, and I haven't stopped thinking about it since.
Add the matching pants and you have a full look.
I think I just need to buy this already rather than talking about it so much.
A touch of leather is always a good idea.

Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content and her Trust Me—Buy This newsletter. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to neutral, classic pieces but will always make an exception for something colorful or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a party is dressing up for one. On her downtime, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious and trying to force her husband to watch Summer House.
