The Data Is In—These Are the Designer Items People Are Actually Buying Right Now

Slowly but surely, we're making our way through 2023, and by this point, we can safely discuss what people are buying in 2023. And the best way to find out is to go straight to the source and ask the retailers. One of my favorite secret sources for finding designer goods for much less than the retail price is Italist. In case you're not yet familiar with it, Italist is a Los Angeles–based company that sells luxury items at Italian retail prices, which are typically much lower than what you'll see in the U.S.
On the site, you'll find a mind-blowing number of luxury brands, including Prada, Loewe, Miu Miu, Valentino, and Bottega Veneta. I've shopped on Italist and can confirm that it's a seamless experience from start to finish. In fact, some of the most-worn pieces in my closet were Italist purchases. So you can see why I chose it for a story about the designer items people are actually buying.
Italist CEO Diego Abba shared five popular items that people are shopping for in spring 2023, and they include one of the biggest shoe trends of the year and an It bag from one of the top luxury brands right now. So without further ado, scroll on to find out what he has to say about the aforementioned buzzy items and shop them for yourself.
