I've become incredibly spoiled by product reviews on the internet. To be honest, when I'm uncertain about a project, it's often positive customer reviews that make me press the "place order" button. So I was more than happy to read over 100 boot reviews on the internet in search of the most comfortable brands.
While boot comfort primarily depends on style (a sherpa-lined flat pair will naturally be more comfortable than a point-toe high-heel pair), some brands are just magically capable of making whatever style they design as foot-friendly and stylish as they possibly can. In the interest of variety, I perused styles from brands that have all your casual and dressy footwear needs covered. A few of them are old favorites, but some might be new on your radar.

Obvious statement of the year: Uggs are very comfortable. But they also make tons of stylish options, which is as important to Ugg reviewers as the comfort level is. I'm partial to the tan-and-black sherpa-lined ankle boots.
Everlane
Everlane boots are so good that almost every pair has hundreds (if not thousands) of reviews and nearly five stars. I've tried several Everlane boot styles myself, and can confirm that they're extremely walkable and well made.
Paige
Paige boots are already a Who What Wear editor favorite (including our New York editors, who have undoubtedly walked for miles in them), and plenty of shoppers have also attested to how comfortable (and chic) they are.
Frye
Frye boots have been around for over 150 years. You don't have that kind of longevity without the product to back it up. One Nordstrom reviewer said, "Amazing quality and can wear for hours with no discomfort whatsoever." Reviewers also praise the brand for running true to size.
Stuart Weitzman
Given the fact that celebrities (who can afford to be picky) are obsessed with Stuart Weitzman boots, it's no surprise that shoppers are too. People are especially smitten with the brand's over-the-knee styles.
Sam Edelman
Sam Edelman is a great option if you're seeking affordable, dressier boots. They look way more expensive than they are and won't leave you with blisters. Win-win.
M. Gemi
M. Gemi's selection may not be as vast as some of the other brands, but that could mean that they have even more resources available to focus on the 20 pairs they do make. One enthusiastic reviewer says, "It fits perfectly and the leather is buttery soft. It felt good right out of the box."
Dr. Martens
Dr. Martens are being embraced again as an It item, but they never ceased to be comfortable (despite the hefty platform soles). They're an NYC-girl favorite, which really says a lot.
