I'm a Millennial Who Doesn't Believe in "Dressing My Age"—Here's My Shopping List RN

In my experience, as a millennial, some days I feel like I'm 40, and others I feel like I'm 20. So I don't even know what "dressing my age" would mean for me. Sometimes I wear outfits that I definitely wore when I was 25, and other times I wear outfits that I would've never worn when I was 25. I wear what I like and what I feel most comfortable in on any given day, and this may mean that my wardrobe is a tiny bit all over the place, but I'm just fine with that.
As it always is in October, this millennial's shopping list is quite long. And just for fun, I felt like sharing it in case it inspires some of your own mid-fall shopping (before all of our time and money is devoted to shopping for gifts). Below, you'll find the shoes, jeans, outerwear, and colors I'm shopping for, to name just a few bullet points. (I told you it was long.) Keep scrolling to go down a shopping rabbit hole along with me.
All Things Chocolate Brown
It's the color of the season (well, one of them), and I've been swapping it for black constantly this season.
Low-Key Leopard Print
While I've come around to leopard print, I won't be wearing it head to toe. But I will be wearing it in the form of accent pieces this fall and winter.
Dark Denim
I'm a jeans girl, so dark denim is right up my alley. I love how polished it makes my outfits look (far more so than lighter washes).
A Suede Bag
I think about buying a suede bag every day but have yet to pull the trigger. These are strong contenders at the moment.
Sweatshirts and Sweaters
I work from home and live in sweatshirts and sweaters October to March. I'm in the market to refresh my collection this year.
Low-Heel Boots
I like boots that won't give me blisters but will give me a bit of height. One of these perfect pairs is coming for my closet.
A Denim Shirt
I'm fully on board with the denim shirt trend, as it's classic as opposed to a flash in the pan. Plus, it's easy to style.
Tights
Whether tights are a trend or not during any given season (they are), I'm still going to wear them because it's cold.
Classic Pumps
For some reason, I've been into pumps lately and am considering investing in a pair that'll last me for years.
Velvet
Like clockwork, I yearn for velvet every winter. I'm already seeing so many good options for the winter months ahead.
A Scarf Coat
Scarf coats get the award for the most elegant outerwear trend there is. And I'm fully on board.
