Every season, plenty of fashion trends come and go that are tricky to wear or even wrap our heads around. Color trends are different—even the most unusual color trends can be wearable if it's the right piece. Color trends are accessible and universal. A few years ago, I was traveling back from London, and the airline's gate agent who was checking passports asked me what spring's big color trend was going to be after I told her I was in the city for fashion-related work. I felt like I was being quizzed and also like she genuinely wanted to know. (For the record, my answer was yellow.)
