I Wear This Simple Shirt Every Day—Here Are Some of the Best Styles to Buy

There are a few closet standbys I couldn’t live without because they more or less act as the anchors to my daily looks. And yep, a black top—whether that’s a tee, a knit, or a sweatshirt—is one of those go-tos. What can I say? The versatility factor is just where it’s at. Basically, anything can pair flawlessly with a simple black top. And one site where I routinely pick up my affordable favorites is Amazon. I’m partial to the variety from the Amazon Essentials line that I’m wearing here.
On that note, I thought I’d cruise through the site to uncover some of the best black shirts from a style perspective and also based on positive customer reviews. With that in mind, keep scrolling to shop a range of A+ shirts if you’re interested in adding something new to your arsenal. I also included an actual customer review for each.

T-Shirts
"These shirts are awesome for lounging around the house or working out in. They are super soft and seem very well made. I will probably end up buying more because they are so comfy. I generally wear a medium (I’m small busted) and bought a medium. They are loose fitting but that’s perfect for me. I could probably even do a small, so size down if you want them tighter fitting." — T
"Just got this T-shirt, since I stuck at home with quarantine I had to buy some more comfortable clothes. This T-shirts are great, soft and its 100% cotton. I love it. Easy to wash, no need to iron. Bought two different colors, and I think I am gonna buy more. Highly recommend for home, sport or just for leisure time." — NT
"Ordered my usual medium. Nice long length, but not too long. Looser flattering fit. Almost sweater material but not too thick and heavy. Really soft shirt. Perfect for work either on its own or with a cardigan over it. I bought in black then ordered another in gray." — Erin
Blouses
"This is my new favorite shirt. It's true to size. The sleeves are really cute—and not tight around my arms. The material is light and great for summer. It is a bit thinner than I expected—I wear a black cami under it. Great for ballpark days or pair it with cute pants or a skirt for work. If you're tired of the plain old black T-shirt, buy this. It's classic and classy." — Amanda
Sweatshirts
"I have needed to replace my old worn out short sleeved sweatshirt for a long time. This is perfect! Comfy, roomy & just right for those times when I need a relaxing day at home. Can’t beat the price either!! Strongly considering getting a second in another color." — D.Yager
