Emily Ratajkowski's Shoes Are Spring's Weirdest Sandal Trend

Following in the footsteps of thong sandals, we have another toe-accentuating shoe trend to look forward to this spring. And like thong sandals, it's straight out of the '90s and early 2000s. That polarizing sandal trend we're referring to is toe-ring sandals, and Emily Ratajkowski seems to be one of the first celebrities on board. She stepped out yesterday for a taping of Late Night With Seth Meyers in NYC wearing a black pair with high block heels, which perfectly complemented her cutout minidress.
As is the case with many trends over the past several seasons, Bottega Veneta is responsible, in part, for the trend, as a pair of toe-ring sandals is one of the most coveted styles in its spring collection. But don't worry—we've found some more affordable options in case you're not quite ready to invest in the admittedly weird trend. But once you see them on EmRata, we have a hunch you'll be convinced.
