With trench-coat season well under way, I've been hunting up and down the high street for an affordable buy that competes with some of the designer styles I've been admiring. In this pursuit, I've narrowed my search down to a lightweight trench with a chic, double-breasted fastening and relaxed, slightly oversized cut. Just in time for October's Prime Deal Days sale, I was pleasantly surprised to find the object of my desire on Amazon, and with nearly 50% off. I know a deal when I see one, and needless to say, this trench coat went straight into my basket.
From Amazon's in-house fashion brand, The Drop, the Noa trench comes in a diverse range of colours which includes black, rich brown, banana-milk yellow and beige. Me? Being the classicist that I am, I opted for the cool-toned stone colour, as I know it'll go with everything I own.
What I love about this The Drop trench coat in particular is its attention to detail, like the double-breasted fastening which can we worn buttoned up and styled with a thick knit underneath on chilly days. Falling to below the knee, it will look great with midi dresses and knee-high boots; and equally as chic with straight-leg jeans and a white tee for a French-inspired finish.
