Taylor Swift has repeatedly proven herself to be someone who values the classics over the trends. When she was photographed earlier this week in New York, it's safe to say she wasn't all too worried about looking especially trendy, but she did wear an accessory trend that may or may not have even been intentional.
Swift's outfit consisted of a black mid-length coat, a crossbody bag, dark grey cropped jeans, and brogues. The standout accessory trend (which her cropped jeans showed off) was a pair of crew socks. Crew socks, which are generally easy to find for cheap, first became an It item in early 2020, and the trend shows no signs of fading. Whether in basic white (see: Nike socks) or in an eye-catching color or print, it remains an easy way to add a little personality to an outfit, just as Swift did.
