There's no question that I get my sense of style from my mother. When I was growing up, she'd take me along on all of her shopping trips, and I'd often play dress-up in her closet. (Well, actually, I still do that.) And now that we're both adults, we're constantly texting each other links to cute fashion things. I love finding out that my friends' moms are also low-key style icons, and obviously, I'm here for any excuse to peep their old family photos.
I did just that with a few of my stylish co-workers recently, and I noticed that one brand, in particular, kept popping up: Lilly Pulitzer. Many of us grew up wearing Lilly Pulitzer thanks to encouragement from our chic moms (see evidence above!), and this season, we're adding classic pieces from the designer to our carts once more.
