Given that it's Meghan Markle's birthday, we did our fashion-editor duty and put on our investigator hats in search of past Meghan Markle outfits from August 4. While we didn't come up with anything from her exact birthday, we did come across a look from Markle's birthday month in 2015, and we were taken aback by how much the former actress' look resembles her current classic duchess aesthetic.
For an August 24 appearance on The Today Show (more on that to come in a future story...), Markle wore a dress that the queen would definitely approve of: a pleated, midi-length, brocade sleeveless dress with a classic belt and ankle-tie pumps. Even her hair was pulled back in classic duchess fashion. We've done previous coverage of Markle's style evolution (see here and here), and it's safe to say that its just gotten more and more polished over the years.
