The 50-year-old superstar first came onto the scene in 1991 as a Fly Girl dancer on the show In Living Color and has continued to build her momentum over the past three decades, adding recording artist, businesswoman, producer, and Golden Globe nominee to her list of professional accolades.
In fact, the Bronx-born multihyphenate had an exceptional 2019 that reflected the gamut of her talents. Not only did she release new music, but she also paid homage to her 2000s-era internet-breaking green chiffon Versace gown by wearing a replica of the original at the designer's Milan Fashion Week show and, most notably, earned rave reviews—and hopefully, an Oscar nomination—as Ramona in the movie Hustlers.
