There are certain It items that come around each season and just slay me. Currently, it's Fendi's Western-inspired boots from the F/W 18 collection that I first spotted on the runway, and then on the feet of just about every major fashion girl during fashion month.
After a quick glimpse at the gorgeous boots, the reason for the adoration is pretty clear, but let me break it down further. This particular silhouette is forward (we all know the Western look is everywhere), sleek with the pointed-toe details and luxe leather, and polished enough to—despite being a "trendy" item—hold their own for a few seasons. So, there you have it. Also note that while they're clearly part of the womenswear collection and I'm a man (beard and all), I would absolutely wear them if I could (sizing permitting) per the above reasons.
