I'm Shopbop's Senior Fashion Director, and We Just Launched a Sports Shop—These Looks Are Key

If game-day style is on your mind as we head into fall or you're looking to upgrade your activewear wardrobe, Shopbop has you covered. The editor-favorite retailer just launched an official Sports shop. Featuring new merchandise perfect for the court and cool pieces to style for the game, the shop is where it's at.
Shopbop's senior fashion director, Caroline Maguire, is particularly excited for this new shop. Her favorite game-day looks and trends are featured on the site, and she dives into it further below. Keep scrolling for more along with shopping inspiration from the shop, including cool tops, cute skirts, and so much more.
Court Chic
"The classic tennis court look will entail a white pleated skirt, but a blue denim skirt works great too. On top, pop on your favorite polo shirt and get bonus points if it has rugby stripes! This is where your footwear game can really shine, so add in a retro sneaker with some sporty tennis socks and top it off with a dad cap. Complete the look with a crossbody bag in nylon to hold all your belongings." — Maguire
Stadium Sleek
"Get ready for game day at the stadium with your favorite team colors. Mine happen to be royal blue and marigold. Go Warriors! Comfort is king at the stadium, so find your favorite pair of loose-fit denim, a T-shirt, and a cardigan to layer on, and you're ready to go! You can always support your teams by sporting their colors without wearing the actual merch! If you're looking for some sun protection for those outdoor games, flat-top sunglasses and a dad cap will work great, and don't forget the sunscreen! You typically can't bring bags or backpacks into the stadium, so leave your handbag at home." — Maguire
Athletic Aesthetic
"Love to watch sports but don't play them? No problem because you can always look the part! Start with a sporty pant. My favorite is a track pant. Find your favorite fitted T-shirt or white tank top and then top it off with an oversize denim jacket or aviator jacket. If it's a daytime look, then opt for some retro sneakers. If it's a night out, then add in a little heeled sandal. Play it up with silver and gold metals to dress it up, and don't be afraid to layer up! Be playful and have fun." — Maguire
