Italist is a retailer many of the fashion people I know turn to for their designer shopping needs because you can find luxury pieces at a discounted price. As one of my co-editors highlighted, the site sells luxury items at the local Italian price, which is often 30% to 40% less expensive than other retailers. Shopping Italist is almost like you're shopping on the streets of Italy by scoring items at that local Italian price.
