I Just Created 5 Expensive-Looking Pre-Spring Outfits From Zara, Mango, and Nordstrom—You're Welcome
Spring is just around the corner, bringing a wave of new arrivals to online shopping destinations like Zara, Nordstrom, and Mango. As I browsed these three retailers, several expensive-looking items instantly caught my eye.
No matter the season, these sites are always my first choice for finding the perfect balance of luxury-inspired pieces without the hefty price tag. For spring, the fresh collections have inspired me, prompting me to create a collection of outfit ideas to share, hoping to inspire anyone looking to refresh their wardrobe this season. Whether you're searching for an outfit for the office or a wedding, there's something for everyone. Keep scrolling for five pre-spring outfit ideas and to shop for each piece.
Outfit #1
You might want to live in this outfit this spring, and I don’t blame you. Not only is it super chic, but it's also perfect for a variety of occasions—including brunch with friends, date night, an evening at the museum, and even the office. The dark-wash blue jeans and white boatneck tank top provide an excellent foundation. The burgundy suede jacket on top adds just the right amount of warmth, while the snakeskin-printed heeled mules provide height, and the perforated East-West bag completes the look with style.
Outfit #2
If you're looking to elevate your spring work outfits, this is the perfect place to start. The gray trousers, paired with a matching cropped jacket, exude professionalism, while the blue striped button-down adds a refreshing twist to the classic white blouse. And those black flats? They're not just any flats; they're sleek and sophisticated with their pointed toe and rounded vamps. Though the mini suede bag might not hold your laptop, it brings a stylish touch that enhances your look, especially when paired with your larger work bag.
Outfit #3
No pre-spring outfit guide is complete without featuring a trench coat or white jeans. This outfit merges both elements, showcasing wide-leg jeans from Nordstrom paired with a funnel-neck trench coat from Mango. The airy green blouse introduces a vibrant touch and a sense of lightness thanks to its gauzy material, while the black flats adorned with gold embellishments add a contrasting, edgy finish to the ensemble.
Outfit #4
One of the biggest trends for spring is bubble-hem shorts, so I had to create an outfit around them, specifically featuring a new style from Zara that I guarantee will sell out within the week. Since it’s usually not that warm during the early months of spring, I paired the shorts with a lightweight cardigan. I opted for beige suede sandals to maintain a warm neutral color palette and sculptural bangles to add some interest and personality to the casual look.
Outfit #5
Wedding season is upon us, and if you’ve received a flood of invites but have nothing to wear, I have an affordable yet elegant outfit idea for you. Consider Mango's new black maxi dress, which makes a subtle statement with its ruched design throughout the body, chic asymmetric neckline, and elegant draping in the back. Given the dress's sophistication, style it simply with diamond stud earrings, a black leather shoulder bag, and strappy heels. This look can take you to a black-tie wedding in New York City or an outdoor celebration in Spain.
