Our team has been fortunate enough to be working from home during these uncertain times. As a result, we’ve been fine-tuning our WFH wardrobes. In fact, we recently highlighted some of our latest go-to outfits—everything from dressed-up to more pared-down 'fits. Today, I wanted to zero in on the specific comfortable staples my fellow fashion editors are legit wearing multiple times per week. The items in question are more or less acting as the anchors to their favorite WFH looks.
What you’ll notice ahead is that all of the pieces in question are cozy in nature but also have a trend element to them to elevate even the simplest ensemble. 1. Oversize Shirt
For those slightly more dressed-up vibes, it's all about a comfortable button-down in an oversize cut. Bonus: Classic white shirts happen to be trending right now.
2. Joggers
This might seem like a no-brainer, but joggers (another It trend) are a staple for a laid-back yet cool look worn in a coordinating set or on separately with other basics.
3. Comfy Tees
Like we mentioned above, a matching top works flawlessly with sweatpants, but so do those comfy tees, either in a cropped style like here or a slouchier silhouette.
4. Cardigans
Cardigans worn as tops are a trendy alternative to one of those other shirting go-tos. Try one with joggers, jeans, shorts, whatever.
5. Leggings
Similar to joggers, leggings are another must-have for those elevated WFH 'fits—like with this ensemble featuring the sweater set and low heels.
6. Tube Socks (and Slippers)
Tube socks and furry sandals are the ultimate comfy accessories. Very of-the-moment and practical.
