There Are Endless Fall Trends, But None Are as Fun as These 3
Sponsor Content Created With NET-A-PORTER

I used to associate fall with toning down my wardrobe, but this season, it's quite the opposite. With dopamine dressing on the rise (aka wearing bold clothing that makes you happy), fall is no longer synonymous with warm neutrals and dark hues. In fact, the dopamine-dressing trend is bigger than ever, and I'm preparing my wardrobe accordingly. If you want to follow my lead, start by clearing a few racks for bubblegum-pink pieces, revealing cut-outs, and compliment-worthy prints. Feeling like you need a bit of visual inspiration? As always, Net-a-Porter's site is right on-trend and filled to the brim with mood-boosting pieces that you'll want to wear again and again. I've curated my favorites below, but I had to hold myself back because everything from the retailer is just so good.
No color was left out of the fall/winter 2022 runways. Designers debuted dozens of pieces in every shade under the sun: pink, yellow, teal—if it's in the rainbow, chances are it was on the runway. I love this trend because it gives the illusion of a never-ending summer even when temps drop well below 70°. Whether you're eyeing Amina Muaddi's bright-orange quilted totes or Staud's ombre cable-knit sweaters, there's definitely no shortage of colorful options on Net-a-Porter.
The fashion set has spoken: Revealing pieces are here to stay. Earlier this year, basically every It girl was seen wearing a micro-mini at some point, and you couldn't scroll two seconds on Instagram without seeing a little bit of lingerie beneath a sheer top or dress. What's the easiest way to dive into dopamine dressing? Cut-outs. They're just plain fun, and you can take it as far as you want: Go all the way with this Mugler cropped blazer, or tap into the trend more subtly in this cream midi dress by AZ Factory.
The moment I saw a certain supermodel in a Loewe printed tank dress this spring, I started making space in my closet for pieces with a little bit more character. And I'm so happy the trend has bled into fall. Animal print is basically becoming a neutral at this point (I'm currently having a love affair with zebra print), designer logos are tastefully splattered across handbags and dresses, and plaid continues its reign into fall. Add any one of the below pieces to your rotation, and prepare for someone to ask you about it every time you go out. Don't say I didn't warn you.
