There are plenty of ways to embrace a particular season's color trends, but I find the best way—especially in spring and summer—is via dresses. A chic dress in an It color is striking and beautiful and requires very little thought or effort. This spring and summer, I think we're going to see a lot of people wearing dresses in six specific color trends that feel fresh, even though some of them aren't brand-new—ahem, red.
The color trends this season range from pastels to bold primary hues to a couple of shades that are most often seen during winter. These color trends were present and accounted for on the biggest, most influential runways, so I'm sharing some of the best of those examples alongside a handful of standout dresses in each hue. Pale Pink
Say goodbye to Barbie pink and hello to its paler, more subdued cousin. I think Prada single-handedly made the case for this to be the It pastel of the season.

What Prada did for pale pink this season, Gucci did for burgundy. It may not be November, but everyone's dressing like it is. That said, opt for burgundy dresses in fabrics like linen, silk, and poplin that won't allow them to be mistaken for winter dresses.

One of the newest buzzy color trends is olive green. If you want a low-key luxurious look, this is the dress color you need. It's also helpful that it goes with every other color on the wheel.
