Most of us are spending a lot of time at home these days, and we've had to seriously adapt our life to all of the changes that are happening right now. One part of your life that might have been disrupted is your fitness routine. Since most gyms and fitness studios are closed for the time being, you might feel a little lost as to what you can do right now to get moving.
As a creature of habit, I'm feeling a little uninspired about working out at home. I love the energy of being in a packed fitness studio. So because I've been pretty meh about exercising, I haven't been doing as much to stay active while I'm sheltering in place.
I'm trying to change that now that I'm easing into spending more time at home. I'm not looking to get a six-pack during this time, but I am looking for ways to release my energy, get my endorphins up, and do something that makes me happy and feel good.
Luckily right now, there are so many streaming workouts available, and many fitness brands are offering free trials and subscriptions. But what's really cool is a lot of celebrity trainers are helping the masses stay fit too with workout videos on platforms like Instagram Live. I get to work out like Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Lopez, Karlie Kloss, and Selena Gomez? Sign me up. Here's a list of trainers below who are hosting virtual workouts.
Michael Maloney
Karlie Kloss's trainer Michael Maloney has been sharing "homework" every day on his Instagram feed—all reps and exercises you can do at home with minimal equipment. Kloss and Maloney recently did a quick 15-minute workout together on Instagram Live, with just a mat required.
David Kirsch
Jennifer Lopez's trainer, David Kirsch, has been creating 10-minute videos that are all-inclusive for different fitness levels and for the whole family. He also did an Instagram Live recently that combined workout moves and some healthy lifestyle tips.
Leyon Azubuike
Jennifer Aniston's trainer, Leyon Azubuike, is also the founder of Gloveworx, a boxing and training fitness studio with locations in Los Angeles and New York. Azubuike and his studio are going to be posting new videos on their YouTube channel, which they're calling their "virtual gym."
Ashley Borden
Ashley Borden, who's trained celebs like Mandy Moore, Chelsea Handler, and Taraji P. Henson, has been hosting workout sessions on Instagram Live. Recently, she did a foam-rolling stress-relief session and a one-hour workout with just dumbbells required.
Jason Walsh
Jason Walsh has trained celebs like Emma Stone and Brie Larson, and he's the founder of popular fitness class and studio Rise Nation (studios in Los Angeles, Miami, and Dallas). He's posting new at-home workouts weekly that are no joke. This week's is a 1000-rep bodyweight challenge.
Melissa Alcantara
Kim Kardashian West's trainer, Melissa Alcantara, has been going live regularly on Instagram with workouts that require very minimal or no equipment, which is great if you're like me and only have a yoga mat and foam roller at home.

Honestly, which celebs haven't trained with Harley Pasternak? His present and former client list is a long one—Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Ariana Grande, to name a few—so consider this prime time to get free workout tips from one of the OG celeb trainers. Angela Davis
Angela Davis has taught indoor cycling to celebs like Beyoncé, Kerry Washington, and David Beckham, and she's bringing her expertise to the masses on Instagram Live. AARMY, the fitness studio Davis co-founded, is hosting workouts every day and throughout the day on Instagram Live. You can choose from cycling, boot camp, and even mindfulness exercises. And it's all free!
Don Saladino
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds's trainer, Don Saladino, goes live on Instagram every day at 3:30 p.m. ET with 20- to 30-minute bodyweight workouts.
Nicole Winhoffer
Nicole Winhoffer—who's trained Madonna, Kate Hudson, and Ellen Pompeo—is doing Instagram Live dance workouts on Sundays at 12 p.m. ET. Consider it as a little dance party for your Sunday self-care routine.
Teddy Bass
Teddy Bass is sharing "quarantine workouts" every day on his Instagram feed and also doing some Live sessions, too. He's trained celebs like Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu, and Christina Applegate.

Megan Roup
Sculpt Society founder Megan Roup recently did an Instagram Live workout with her client, model Elsa Hosk, and the only equipment they used was cans of beans, sliders or a towel, and a mat! She's also sharing some workouts from the Sculpt Society on her Instagram feed.

Even if you don't know much about fitness, you probably have an idea of who Tracy Anderson is. Another OG celeb trainer (Gwyneth Paltrow has been a fan since day one), she has her own online studio with membership, but she also said she'll be adding workouts to her YouTube channel soon so everyone can get some movement in.
Peter Lee Thomas
Peter Lee Thomas is Halle Berry's trainer and fitness collaborator. They regularly post workout videos and wellness talks on Instagram and Facebook. During this time, Thomas has been posting at-home workouts on his Instagram feed and even gives some suggestions if you don't have equipment on hand.
Kit Rich
Kit Rich has trained celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence and Ke$ha, and now she's helping us get moving at home by hosting daily 30- to 45-minute workouts on her YouTube channel at 8 a.m. PT from now until March 31. And that's not all. She's taking all the proceeds earned from these videos and donating them to a charity dedicated to helping those affected by the coronavirus.
