The winter season is underway and I couldn’t be more excited. Honestly, it’s one of my favourite times of year to get dressed, with chic layering, mixing textures like leather with knitwear and an array of fun accessories that come to the fore at this time of year.
Winter calls for a few staples that will become our most relied-upon pieces over the next few months, and whilst we’ve already brought you the best knee-high boots and sumptuous cashmere jumpers, now my attention is on the perfect coat. I think it's worth spending a little more on a coat that will become a daily companion for months on end, but although I’ve been eyeing up the Toteme scarf coat and considering Max Mara’s iconic styles, the high street has been busy creating some of the most expensive-looking styles we’ve seen in years.
