Athletic brands are all about collaborating with the coolest It personality in the zeitgeist. Adidas has Alexander Wang; Puma has Rihanna, Kylie Jenner, and Cara Delevingne; and Reebok has Gigi Hadid. But in the latest athletic brand news, Nike just announced its partnership with a model we can hardly go a day without discussing and whose rise to success has been meteoric. We’re referring to the other Hadid sister, Bella.
In tandem with the opening of the new Nike Soho store in New York, the iconic activewear brand tapped Hadid, along with Serena Williams, Odell Beckham Jr., Victor Cruz, and Nas to star in the new #NYMade campaign. And the first peek features the 20-year-old posing against the Manhattan skylight in a striking white-and-black image.
Hadid shared the news via her Instagram just a few hours ago. "So excited to announce that I am OFFICIALLY PART OF THE @NIKE FAMILY!," she posted, along with a meta image of her standing in the middle of the street under her new billboard. We have to say, we're pretty excited for her, too.
