Of course, it's the best time to score unbelievable fashion and beauty deals from top brands, some of which never go on sale (at least not to this degree). The beauty section alone is especially on point this year, and I'm not just saying that as a biased beauty editor! It's loaded with editor-loved brands like Augustinus Bader, Byredo, YSL, and more. I could wax poetic about how many of my personal favorites have made it onto the page.
However—and this is the best part—these beauty brands don't just offer one-off items at impressive discounts. Many actually create limited-edition sets just for this legendary event, so you can get the most bang for your buck. I'm talking about custom collections of two, three, or even more of their beloved hero products—never before seen and never to be seen again once the Nordstrom sale concludes on August 3.

You won't find a beauty editor who doesn't have at least one Byredo perfume in their collection, and Mojave Ghost tends to make an appearance more than once. The woody and aromatic scent is simply divine in every format (eau de parfum, hand cream, body wash, etc.). Honestly, I'm in shock this trio is still available.
Dr. Barbara Sturm's famous Hyaluronic Serum costs $325 on its own. Is that wildly expensive for HA? Absolutely. Is it worth it? I'd say 100%. My skin never looked more plump and hydrated than after finishing my first bottle—and for those looking for some extra radiance, the brand's Glow Drops deliver such a pretty flush. The Glow Drops alone are $160, so buying this set is essentially like getting a BOGO deal.
Augustinus Bader is another luxury skincare brand well worth the steep price tag, and to have a full routine for less than $100 honestly feels like stealing. The Rich Cream and Eye Cream are my personal faves, but the Serum and Face Mask are wonderful for a much more concentrated, hydrated glow.
Three La Mer essentials for $440 is such a steal. I mean, the Treatment Lotion alone is $135, and the Lifting and Firming Serum is tagged at $435! They are smaller here in the kit, but not by much—the cost per ounce is still unbelievable. This is another one I predict will be gone in a flash.
As someone with sensitive, wimpy brows, I'm always looking for a potent brow serum that A) actually works and B) doesn't irritate the skin. This peptide-infused formula ticks both boxes—and it's a two-for-one deal! WWW beauty editor Kaitlyn McLintock also counts herself a superfan. "I quite literally had to stop using it only a month or so in due to how fast and furious my previously stagnant brow hairs were growing," she gushes. That is my dream scenario, TBH, so I'll surely be copping this set.

Parfums de Marly fragrances just make you feel so pretty. I'm especially partial to Delina and Valaya, and it seems I'm not alone, as the brand decided to feature them in the same essentials set.
Please, please, please do yourself a favor and snag these full-size U Beauty items. The Super Hydrator makes my skin feel butter-soft, the Resurfacing Compound gives me a glow like no other, and I never leave home without a tinted Plasma Lip Compound on my person. To say these products have reached staple status is a severe understatement.
When I saw this La Prairie skincare set on sale, I immediately thought, Oh wow. I'm genuinely obsessed with The Mist and Essence-in-Lotion, which tallies up to a total of $510 on a normal day.
