Angelina Jolie Is Already Carrying 2023's Most Coveted It Bag

In the age of Instagram, it's easy to track the outfits of its most avid users, many of whom are celebrities. This, of course, has its perks—we can shop the wardrobes of those whose style emulates our own more swiftly than ever. However, one setback with this access is that we can sometimes overlook the outfits that don't crop up on the 'gram. This is why I like to pay close attention to the ensembles worn by the stars who shy away from social media to bring you the looks you might not necessarily come across on your next scroll otherwise. Today's assignment? Angelina Jolie.
Angelina Jolie is one of the most classic dressers in Hollywood, with her timeless outfits serving as a respite from the flash-in-the-pan trends that crop up. While bright colours, clashing prints and red carpet frou-frou can be fun, when it comes to outfits we can copy and paste into everyday life, Jolie always delivers. From camel coats to tailored trousers, her latest string of outfits has not disappointed, but the one she wore last week just might be my favourite.
Stepping out in New York City, the actor applied the styling trick favoured by fashion editors—wearing one shade top to toe—to her look, opting for a black coat, slip dress and leather knee boots. Although sleek, the pieces in this outfit run the risk of blending in with one another. However, with the latest designer It bag on her arm, that would never be the case. A slew of celebrities, including Zoë Kravitz, Hailey Bieber and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, have carried Saint Laurent's Icare bag, and Jolie has been spotted with hers on more than one occasion. With jumbo totes proving to be a huge trend on the S/S 23 runways, coupled with the brand's coveted YSL emblem, I would also want to use mine at any given opportunity.
