If you've followed Janelle Monáe's career the last several years, you'll know a couple things: She's insanely talented, and she has a serious penchant for three specific colors. Examine red carpet appearances and you'll notice she rarely deviates from her signature black, white, and red. (See here for just a few examples.)
This style credo extends to her off-duty looks as well—the singer and actress was spotted jetting out of LAX wearing a faux-fur jacket, skinny jeans, and combat boots in her usual palette. It appears Monáe never breaks her sartorial character, and we think she deserves some serious props for her consistency.
