If you haven't yet booked a holiday, the below IRL looks will prompt you to do so almost immediately—they certainly made me regret my decision to go to the Isle of Wight… And if you are already planning to go abroad but aren't remotely close to perfecting your packing list, the ideas and key pieces are all here for you to pick and choose from.
Photographer Thomas Razzano took to the streets of the historic coastal town, as it has long been heralded as one of the chicest places to holiday in the whole of the Mediterranean. We weren't sure what to expect of the locals and tourists when it came to their exact holiday ensembles, but we felt safe in the knowledge that whatever imagery came back to us would be utterly chic and full of inspiration. Razzano, and the stylish crowd he found, did not disappoint.
A few clear trends and It items are plain to see, even from a cursory glance at the results. Vibrant prints are very much in, and even better if they have a Majolica vibrancy to them with loud florals and fruit motifs. Summery white staples are forever the sophisticat's choice and rightly so—they never look bad whether ultra minimal in the form a backless dress or more bohemian in a cutwork embroidered blouse. It perhaps comes as no surprise with the Italians being known for their love of luxury leather goods that designer bags were omnipresent, but it was Loewe's crazy-popular basket tote that trumped them all. Style Notes: This holiday look is confident, fun and unique. Crochet textures are big news again for summer 2022, but rather than looking too bohemian, Tamar takes a kookier turn with a polka-dot chiffon cover-up and furry sandals.

Style Notes: I've never seen white cut-off denim shorts looks so elegant! With clip-on earrings, what look like Hermès Oran sandals, a classic broderie anglaise blouse and chic tortoiseshell sunglasses, Vaccarello has inspired me to keep things simple now and then.
Style Notes: Basket bags, in every shape or form, are clearly still a top choice.

Style Notes: Okay, Silvana—you win! This tile-print co-ord is just so joyful. Combined with gold jewellery, an adorable mini bag and great shades, this is like holiday dressing 101.

Style Notes: The contrast of a plain white cotton shirt against a crochet maxi skirt and raffia tote makes for quite the minimalistic treat.

Style Notes: Jumana's lemon-print kaftan is such a statement. I appreciate how she's given is a streetwear spin with a cross-body bumbag and sneaks.

Style Notes: Co-ords have moved past trend territory and become a standard category in our home-and-away wardrobes. This one is particularly jolly with its puff sleeves, frills and stripes.
