Style Notes: We can always count on Gucci to elevate pieces from the fashion archives to cool new heights, and this skirt is no exception. A play on retro twin sets, this heritage houndstooth-check skirt has been given a modern-day overhaul thanks to its mini length. Make like Erika and wear it with chunky flats for a 2019 spin. 

Style Notes: If you love red and spots, look no further than River Island's button-through midi skirt. It's great for wearing with sandals, but we can imagine wearing this well into winter with ankle boots too.
