3 Spring Trends to Try Before They Become Too Popular

I'm far from a fashion trailblazer, but I'll admit that oversaturated trends tend to be a bit off-putting to me. If a trend has its own TikTok terminology, it's probably not something I want to spend my money on. One thing I do to stay ahead of the curve is try out seasonal trends early. I have a not-so-secret advantage: I live in Los Angeles, where I can easily test-drive spring and summer trends in the middle of winter. I know that not everyone enjoys this privilege, but with some strategic layering, anything is possible!
Below, I rounded up some spring/summer 2024 trends straight from the runways that I predict will explode once April arrives. Valentino, Victoria Beckham, and Ganni are just a few of our reader-favorite brands I've included, along with shoppable selections from H&M, Mango, and more.

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern in 2011—back when the site only published a single story per day. (We have since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC and lives in Los Angeles. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2015, where she is now the Associate Director of Fashion News. From the Oscars to the Met Gala, she leads the site's entire red carpet coverage strategy. She specializes in celebrity and fashion news but also enjoys writing travel features and runway reports. She frequently contributes to WWW's social accounts and has a sizable following on her personal TikTok.
