As we head into the final month before summer, I'm using this opportunity to prepare my wardrobe before the heat sets in. The last thing you want to see is a text from friends saying: "Beach. Now." and you still feel utterly unprepared. Spring in Sydney has been mild, so I expect an extremely hot summer will be headed our way. I'll be adding lots of linen basics to stay cool, new swimsuits that can double as outerwear, and sunglasses, and a hat to be sun smart.
Australian designers do summer so well, so this month, I'm indulging my patriotic side and shopping only from local brands.

I love layering long lengths, so I'll be throwing this over all my favourite slip dresses.

As we creep closer towards Christmas, I know there'll be a lot of events coming up, and this is perfect to dress up or down.
