Jody Boyman spent a lifetime traveling the world as a wildlife photographer. But her trips opened her eyes to a world that was hurting from unsustainable food processes; thus, Hungry Planet was born. With her brother Todd, Boyman set out on a mission to create plant-based meat alternatives to feed a hungry planet with sustainability in mind. Hungry Planet is modernizing plant-based eating by adopting the concept of truly marrying food tech with food taste.

As the co-founder and chief purpose officer, Boyman has developed strategic client relationships, positioning Hungry Planet at the forefront of the industry and being accessible in a wide range of venues, groceries, geographies, and cuisines.

Yet before Boyman was changing the way the world eats, she actually spent her first life as a wildlife photographer, where she traveled to the ends of the world, from Africa to Antarctica. Her work has been published in esteemed publications including Time and Life.
