For a moment, I actually believed the only coat/jacket I would see this season is that The Frankie Shop quilted style (we all know the one). Then, to my surprise the fashion people pulled through with yet another form of outerwear to fill my Instagram feed. Although not all from the same brand this time – even though they look extremely similar – they all have the same thing in common, and it's all about the colour. Let me introduce you to the salt and pepper coat, aka your new best friend.
Usually used when describing dark hair with grey or white flecks in, the coat in question is much the same. A mix of grey, white and black threads creates a textured herringbone or flecked effect that's proving to be a huge hit this season. Best part?
