Sabrina Carpenter, singer, songwriter, actress, and fashion collaborator, just launched her new collection with Aéropostale, and it's chock-full of the perfect (and affordable) spring and summertime pieces you'll want to wear 24/7.
Ahead of the collection drop, we were able to speak with Carpenter herself, asking her about everything from the inspiration behind her colorful new line to what some of her favorite pieces are (and how she would style them).
"I was inspired by my own day-to-day fashion, which can range from very neutral to really adventurous with patterns and colors," Carpenter shared with us. "I was also really inspired by my fans who are around my age and wanted to also design clothes that would work with their everyday fashion while also inserting my own style as well." And we must say, she succeeded at doing just that.
Her collection includes everything from the perfect medium-wash jean jacket—an everyday wardrobe staple that withstands time and trends—to the prettiest lightweight floral shirtdress that looks just as cool with white sneakers as it does with a pair of combat boots (and just so happens to be a Carpenter favorite as well).
Other top picks from her collection? "My top three favorite pieces are the tomboy denim shorts that look good with a plain white tee and sneakers for an everyday, casual look, the red patterned dress that I like to pair with combat boots or heels depending on where I'm going and whether I need to be dressy or not, and the good old jean jacket that I can wear with almost anything at any time," she tells us.
