Kim Kardashian has convinced us we need this new 'weird' trend in our life. First it was bike shorts, and now it's the 'dad' sneakers husband Kanye West is pioneering with his new Yeezy Wave Runner 700 sneakers.
According to High Snobiety, the Yeezy Wave Runner 700 style was available to pre-order earlier this year—and now Instagram is flooded with the style. It's almost impossible to get your hands on a pair (we know, we're always trying) so we did a little digging around the 'net, to find something similar without the waiting time.
It might not be your first port of call, or the most obvious, but surprisingly Target Australia actually has a pair of sneakers in the men's department, with a similar 'dad' vibe. Grey mesh, blue cushioning, and a slightly exaggerated sole. Look, they may not be perfect, but they're a start.
