Queer Eye Season 2 Is Coming to Netflix (Sooner Than You Think)
I am proud to admit that I just watched the entire first season of Queer Eye for the second time this weekend—so it's safe to say that I'm completely obsessed with the Fab Five and over the moon about season two. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Queer Eye, Dope, Drug Lords, Nailed It!, and The Toys That Made Us will all get a second season on Netflix, with Queer Eye season 2 set to premiere sometime in 2018. The official Queer Eye Instagram account then confirmed the exciting news, posting a short announcement video emblazoned with "Season 2," ending with Jonathan exclaiming, "Can you believe?" in his signature style. See the video below:
Antoni Porowski, Tan France, Bobby Berk, and Jonathon Van Ness then took to their personal Instagram accounts to break the news to fans, and we assume it's only a matter of time before we see a post from Karamo Brown. If you have yet to watch the 2018 revival of the reality show, rest assured: You have at least a few months to catch up on the first eight episodes. Not only is the series grossly entertaining, but it's also culturally relevant—set in rural Georgia, it tastefully touches on politically charged topics like police brutality and homosexuality as it relates to religion in a way that seeks to unite rather than divide. I'd argue that our world could use a show as heartwarming and selfless as this one—watch it even just to remind yourself of all the good in the world (yes, it's that powerful).
Next up, read about the top lesson Bobby Berk learned from Queer Eye, which has nothing to do with décor.
