A Love Note to Princess Diana's 4 Best Winter Outfits of All Time

When asked which celebrity has the best holiday outfits, Anna Wintour said Kate Middleton. While I certainly don't disagree, I have to say that the duchess's late mother-in-law had some stellar winter style herself. We often talk about how influential her style continues to be, and her cold-weather looks are no exception.
I did some digging to find Princess Diana's best winter outfits, and I definitely struck gold. Of course, there were the requisite prim-and-proper toppers she wore at palace-sanctioned events: a beautiful red coat, a pretty camel version, and a pale-blue one that adorably matched Prince William's coat.
But my favorite look represented Princess Diana's more casual side: a red puffer she wore while skiing in Austria in the '90s. As much as I love dissecting royal outfits at events, there's something much more revealing about seeing how they dress off duty.
