Meet the Stylish Sneakers Dominating Our Fall Looks
Sponsor Content Created With New Balance
When most people think of fall fashion, a few staple items come to mind. Flannels, boots, wide-brim hats, and light jackets seem to be the defining pieces of the season, but I have something else on my mind this fall. As soon as the weather cooled down enough for me to ditch my sandals, I happily made the switch to sneakers. Every fall, my go-to pair meets at the intersection of comfort and style, and this year, it's New Balance's Fresh Foam X 1080v12 sneaker.
I'm not the only one turning to New Balance this season. Two of my favorite content creators, Dannaed Garcia and Thamarr Guerrier, have been taking the Fresh Foam X 1080v12 sneakers everywhere they go, so naturally, I'm following suit—but not without some style inspo. If you want to see how Garcia and Guerrier are styling these ultra-comfortable sneakers, just keep scrolling.

I've been following Garcia for quite some time now, and her posts always make it into my Saved folder. She masters that low-key L.A. look with ease, and this outfit is proof. Pairing the Fresh Foam X 1080v12 sneaker with an all-black ensemble allows the mint-green soles to really pop. The wired headphones and light cardigan really play into that "on-the-go cool girl" aesthetic that I've been seeing all over the internet.
Garcia describes her everyday style as "a mix of minimalistic, elevated, yet chic" with basics at the forefront. This outfit embodies that to a T. Whether she's running errands or heading to a fitness class, she can rock her Fresh Foam X 1080v12s and know that she won't have to comprise on comfort, and the blue colorway contrasts nicely with the rest of her outfit. To keep everything light and breathable, she opted for a pair of running shorts and a pullover that she can easily take off and wear over her shoulders when that L.A. sun gets a bit too hot.

Guerrier's social media page is filled with photos from all over the globe, but no matter where she is, I can always rely on her for a fun 'fit. "Living in Florida, I can get away with wearing shorts all year long," she says. "But I still want to be comfortable, so I love these light, breathable shorts that are lined and have a hidden tie. I also live for a monochrome moment." The all-blue look is easy to throw on and perfect for those warm temperatures in the Sunshine State.
"I love this all-black look that's perfect for running errands, grabbing a coffee, and getting a workout in after," Guerrier says. "It's chic and gives off a cool-girl vibe. I can be comfortable and put-together at the same time." Guerrier is no stranger to athleisure, so she knows what an outfit needs to go seamlessly from one event to the next. "I love to throw a fresh, white tee and moto jacket over any pair of leggings for an instant outfit change-up," she says. Noted.
