I Slept on This Nordstrom Brand for Far Too Long—Now, I Can't Stop Buying It
Having grown up shopping at Nordstrom for pretty much everything—from True Religion jeans in middle school to Free People Henleys in high school and more—I'm very familiar with most if not all of the retailer's brands, including its in-house lines. (Hello, I bought my sophomore homecoming dress from BP.) At least, I thought I was. In fact, I only came to realize recently just how wrong I had it.
You see, despite being a lifelong fan of Nordstrom, I've been sleeping on one of its best, most underappreciated in-house brands: Open Edit. But after thoroughly perusing all 500+ pieces from the Nordstrom Made brand—ranging from oversize button-downs and leather trousers to rib-knit sets and dresses, many of which are available in sizes XXS to 3X—I can say with 100% certainty that I'm fully awake to it now, so much so that I already put in my first order. A second is in the works.
To ensure that you don't make the same mistake that I did—that is, not taking advantage of an affordable and size-inclusive brand that's both trendy and timeless—I made up a beginner's guide to the label. Scroll on for Open Edit's best and brightest pieces.
