Simply put, it's all about boldness. We're talking oversize ruffles, dramatic silhouettes, and varying textures. Emma Watson took on velvet in a beautifully draped V-neck dress and coordinating sandals. At the same event, Alexa Chung showed us that ruffles and leather could coexist by wearing a Chanel number that incorporated both elements in the coolest of ways.
