No Doubt About It—These Are the 21 Best Buys at COS, Arket and H&M Right Now

I don't know about you, but after waiting a long time for spring's arrival, I've ended up wearing the same three outfits on rotation. Don't get me wrong, rewearing styles is an overarching goal of mine, to make the most of my purchases and allow each piece a long life in my wardrobe. But the reason I was rewearing the exact same looks is that some key styles were missing from my capsule wardrobe. Now, with the new season on the horizon, I'm determined to start filling those gaps and revitalising my trusty outfit rotations. Thankfully, the high street is one step ahead of me.

When scouring the high street for new-in styles there are a few things to consider. First things first, does it have a place in my wardrobe? Finding a great piece is one thing, but it only becomes a worthwhile purchase if you know that it suits your personal aesthetic, and will therefore be something in which you choose to take the tags off. Second, will it stand the test of time? I like to really think about whether I'll be able to wear it for other occasions and events, or if I'll want to pull it out next year (and the year after that). Finally, I like to hunt for items that look well beyond their price tag.
Not only is that great for my bank balance, but also means that they probably include some timeless, classic elements or clever design that will ensure I want to pull them out of my wardrobe time after time. Lucky for us, COS, Arket and H&M have come through with a plethora for polished styles to wear from now and well into spring, and that would have everyone second-guessing their high street origins.
Keep scrolling to explore the expensive-looking new-in pieces from COS, Arket and H&M that will bolster your outfit builds this spring.
BROWSE MY NEW-IN WISH LIST:
1. COS
The brand released a similar version last year that instantly sold out. Now it's back in stock and in a lighter shade.
I recently saw someone wearing this elegant top and couldn't believe it was from the high street.
As temperatures rise, you'll be grateful for light linen trousers in a soft fluid shape.
Take your denim up a notch with bold cuffs and a light ecru shade.
2. ARKET
I'm already thinking of all the ways to style this skirt. Simple tank top, light knit, intricate blouse... the list goes on.
If you want a refined bag that is sure to turn heads, look to this bold east-west silhouette.
Waistcoats are a modern wardrobe staple, and Arket brings its design prowess into the finer details of this one.
3. H&M
If you're wondering how to bring a polished finish to your looks this spring, just layer in this jacket.
I keep seeing stylish people wearing blouses this spring, and I'm embracing the arrival of sunshine with this butter yellow style.
I've tried these on and can confirm they're just as comfortable as they look.
Broderie Anglaise details are on the rise with the turn to boho influences, and a sleek dress is a great way to tap into the trend.
If you outfits year round often call for a blazer, look to a linen blend style for the warmer days.
