As editors, it's our job to watch the runway like hawks, keeping up to date on the latest Instagram brands and following all the trending looks at fashion week. So without further ado, we present you the A/W 19's Vanguard: The Sant, Le 17 Septembre, Naturae Sacra and BITE Studios. With a quick glance at the lineup, it's safe to say that minimalism is still the reigning aesthetic of the season, with all the collections embracing muted colourways and pared-back silhouettes.

The Sant
With its sculptural silhouettes and distinctive "scrunchie" handles, The Sant is all about creating bags with plenty of impact. Each piece is handmade in the label’s Barcelona studio and comes in classic colourways of brown, black and white. Coming to an Instagram feed near you.
Le 17 Septembre
The Korean brand is a minimalist's dream thanks to its tight edit of clean-lined, stripped-back pieces. Highlights include the twill trench coat, which will look so chic over a midi dress, or the dramatic open-back turtleneck sweater, which was born to be worn with jeans. The brand only produces its designs in small amounts, so don't wait about.
Naturae Sacra
Naturae Sacra is the second bag brand in Net-a-Porter's Vanguard lineup, and not unlike the first, they're all about the graphic lines and artistic finish. Designed in Milan and hand-finished by artisans using traditional vegetable-tanning techniques, it won't surprise you to know that these pieces are inspired by modern art, sculpture and interior design. We want one in every colour.
BITE Studios
With an acronym meaning "By Independent Thinkers for Environmental Progress," BITE Studios prides itself on producing handmade pieces which are produced using only ethically sourced materials and sustainable manufacturing. Expect luxe silk dresses, textured wools and plenty of wearable staples.
