We don’t really play favorites when it comes to red carpet events. Be it the Oscars, Emmys or Tonys, each award show has something special to bring to the table. But tonight’s MTV Video Music Awards feels special, and it’s not just because Jennifer Lopez and Cardi B are both in attendance.
