I'm Anti-Skinny Jeans But Pro-Leggings—28 Pairs Fashion Girls Like Me Love

Skinny jeans have had a rough couple of years, but as usual, everything always comes back around and skinny jeans are about to have a major resurgence in the coming year. Does this mean I will be participating? Not necessarily. Skinny jeans are finally entering the "on-trend" chat again thanks to slimmer pant silhouettes spotted in recent SS23. This included jeans, pants, and my personal favorite, leggings. I am not someone who feels particularly confident in skinny jeans, but I am excited to participate in this new pared-back movement and plan to do so by investing in leggings that are stylish enough to wear as pants.
Fashion girls have recently been styling leggings with oversized sweaters, basic belts, and leather jackets. Naturally, you could throw on a pair of the many black workout leggings you own to get the look, but the below pairs are particularly stylish and fashion girls would agree. Featuring It brands like Toteme and Saint Laurent in addition to budget-friendly buys at H&M and Zara, if you're looking to start wearing leggings as pants again, look no further than this elevated roundup of options.
Take note: Belts on leggings might just be the next big thing.
If I were to splurge on a pair of leggings it would be these.
The wide waistband gives these an expensive feel.
Take note from Tory Burch's SS23 collection and layer bold leggings underneath miniskirts.
Lace is making a subtle comeback and I love the idea of these layered under a dress with sleek pumps.
