No one is having a better few months than Virgil Abloh. Lyst just released its report for the third quarter of 2018, and Abloh's Off-White brand took the number one spot on the list of the hottest fashion brands right now. Thanks to frenzied demand for the label's sneakers and a high-profile collaboration with Serena Williams, among other buzzy moments, Off-White even beat out Gucci this quarter in terms of online searches, browses, and purchases.
"Over the last year, the cult streetwear label has risen 33 places in the Index, now surpassing Gucci and Balenciaga at the top of the table for the first time," Lyst explains in its report. "Thanks to a quarter packed with globally hyped launches and collaborations, the brand buzz surrounding Abloh and his disruptive creative aesthetic continues to grow."
