Monica Rose, stylist to the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan, told InStyle about the one specific Spanx undergarment she uses for her famous clients—and highlighted the mistake you might be making.
"I use a lot of Spanx—that's definitely my go-to brand," Rose told InStyle. "I use the high-waist ones that go all the way down to the calf. If you do the one that's short, it always leaves a line, so I always use the longer ones." Considering Rose's job entails dressing celebrities in the most flattering, camera-friendly looks possible, it's safe to say she knows what she's talking about. So you'd be wise to swap your short Spanx styles for longer ones whenever your outfit permits.
