Every so often an M&S item comes along that sends seasoned fashion editors into a spin—the pink coat, Alexa Chung's suede midi skirt, the grey jumper with the fluted sleeves, and more recently, the bright pink Roksanda-esque dress. The latest M&S item to add to this list is a shoulder bag that defies its £79 price tag.

The bag in question is a leather bucket with a gold metal ring handle and a shoulder strap, which is available in a rich, tan leather and a croc-effect white. As ever, fashion blogger Alex Stedman of The Frugality has been the first to jump on this high-street find, as this week she wore the white style with a black jumpsuit.
