Margot Robbie Went Full Matrix in a Leather Trench Coat With Sky-High Stilettos
Apparently, we are still in the simulation. Margot Robbie was the latest star to sport a leather trench coat and sunglasses that will forever be associated with The Matrix movies.
While this black-on-black outfit combo has its roots in Y2K-era fashion (the first Matrix film premiered in 1999), Robbie's black-and-silver strappy stiletto sandals by Aquazzura are a reflection of the current style moment and befitting for an A-list actress in the 21st century. The Matrix's Trinity would agree: Stilettos are not ideal for quick escapes, but the trench coat is perfection.
Nevertheless, one must admit the 'fit is still fantastic, simulation or not. So if you're willing to resurrect an iconic look from the early 2000s, then you have an important choice to make. Do you start with a trench coat or stiletto sandals?
