The Cool Denim Trend Fashion People Are Wearing on Repeat This Year
It's hard to remember a time where I wasn't a fan of jeans in a lighter wash. I've always found them easy to mix with either bright colors or neutrals, giving a variety of outfit options fitting to the look I was going for, something I never quite got from darker wash denim. While jeans are a classic item and different shades are constantly being worn, it's no secret that more fashion folk have been bringing out their lighter styles with a majority of their outfits, and I'm 100% on board with it. It gives a cool and laid-back twist to any ensemble, and who doesn't want that?
To showcase the vibe further, I'm showcasing 10 fashion girls wearing light jeans that have already given me even more ways to re-wear the pair sitting in my closet right now. There are never too many options, right? Keep scrolling for more, and shop the best jeans while you're at it.
Style Tip: Layer a collared tip under a cardigan or top to add a little further dimension to your outfit.
Style Tip: Just because an outfit is casual, doesn't mean it can't be cool. A cool purse and hat can take your look up another level.
Style Tip: If you want to make your T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers a little more forward-looking, a leather jacket will do the job.
Style Tip: When in doubt, opt for double-denim. It's a much more subtle take on the Canadian tuxedo with the shade of blue on a lighter note, making it easier to wear, in my opinion.
Style Tip: If you're going for a more tonal look, pair light-wash denim with muted tones like creams and matching blues.
Style Tip: If a blazer is too much for you, a cozy cardigan in a fun shade is way to add the more fashion-girl look to the outfit.
Style Tip: Never doubt the sweater-and-jeans combo. It always works.
Style Tip: Sometimes keeping it minimal is best.
Style Tip: Don't be afraid to play around with colors and prints you usually wouldn't wear. Light-wash denim mixes well with the majority.
Style Tip: Like I always say, accessories make everything better. Add a fun hat like a beret or bucket hat and a unique bag, keeping the outfit wearable but with trendy touches.
