Laura Dern's 16-Year-Old Son Will Be Your New Favorite Model

Are we sounding like a broken record yet? Celebrities' kids are everywhere in the modeling industry right now, from Diddy's son Christian Combs to Muhammad Ali's grandson Biaggio Ali Walsh. The likes of Kaia Gerber and Hailey Baldwin hold down the fort on the women's side. Now, we have another name to add to the list of stylish Hollywood offspring: Laura Dern's 16-year-old son, Ellery Harper.
The aspiring model sat in the front row at Calvin Klein alongside his mom (and her Big Little Lies co-star Nicole Kidman), and the fashion world immediately took notice. Harper chatted with WWD and revealed that he was personally invited to walk in the show by Creative Director Raf Simons, but Harper's dad wanted him to "wait a little bit more" to become a model. Only time will tell if he'll be the next major model in a couple years, but we'll certainly be keeping an eye out. Meanwhile, see the photos from his appearance at fashion week below.

Erin got her start as a Who What Wear intern in 2011—back when the site only published a single story per day. (We have since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC and lives in Los Angeles. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2015, where she is now the Associate Director of Fashion News. From the Oscars to the Met Gala, she leads the site's entire red carpet coverage strategy. She specializes in celebrity and fashion news but also enjoys writing travel features and runway reports. She frequently contributes to WWW's social accounts and has a sizable following on her personal TikTok.
